Endodontic – “root canal treatment”
Endodontics (“root canal treatment”) is the treatment of the internal part – the canals – of a tooth.
It is a thorough procedure that allows saving heavily destroyed teeth preventing its loss.
The use of a microscope enable a detailed vision of the tooth canals and therefore a more adequate treatment.
Once root canal treated, a tooth may become discolored and fragile. They should be reinforced by a resistent restoration with natural appearance.
